Case study.

At the request of the Salamanca Hospital Thoracic Surgery Service, a project to develop an ad hoc thoracic prosthesis for a specific tumour case was addressed.

This milestone is a direct application of additive manufacturing in the health sector, encompassing the design, engineering and manufacturing of the prosthesis and optimising process times and costs to ensure the viability of developments in the health sector.
